Dedicated to Bella and my soon to be first grandchild, Dylan . . . children of innocence - may you forever behold the wonder of nature and rainbows. Never stray from the purity they provide to your spirit. It is vital to your existence.

A snake about the size of a pencil that was caught on one of our patio chairs by a single strand of spider's web . . . the sprinkler was going and it added a few drops to the web.

Set of 7 (Shadows of Seed Pods and Cotton that can be viewed via Flickr) - please view all if you will! A color from the camera shot (no manipulation) and then a conversion to B&W . . . this one is my favorite of the series.

Honoring those who have served our country - specifically both my parents (Navy) and the Parkin/Gallego clan . . . Thank you! DigiNee
Manas and other Flickr friends that I am not aware of - I thank you also for your sacrifice and service.

Where I bike each day - flooded in October in one of those Houston flash floods - was gone, but rather dirty, the next day - I had never seen it up to the bridge which you could not cross ----- Shutter and I were out shooting in the rain! Was lots of fun.

Handheld macro very early morning - used the 18-200 VR lens with a 10x close-up filter - took several, feel this is the best - this little flower was super small! Very hard to hold still when the grass was soaked and I had to be so close.
