This picture was taken August 14, 2005 in Waterton National Park, Canada. It was 35 degrees at 9:45 a.m. and the sun was rising on incredible beauty on the roadside - all the plants and flowers were covered in ice crystals as it had snowed on the mountains and gotten real cold there - all the flora stil retained their bright summer colors . . . it was a treasure chest of "Iced Jewels".
