Oh, this is wonderful! Where did you take it? I'm a fellow siesta who has dropped by a few times to look at your gorgeous pictures! I love your photo blog.
Hey siesta!!!! Taken at the Pearland Cemetary (near Alvin, Texas) - it was just that cloudy and did increase the contrast in post processing to get the "brown" look rather than the gray marble look . . . had the camera set on about a negative 1.3 for exposure compensation to add to the silhouette to make is darker.
What a blessing to know a fellow siesta look at the blog - you made my day! Truly!
I would never have thought that photo to be from a cemetary in the U.S. It looks to be from Rome or the Holy Land or I don't know! When I first saw it, I just couldn't imagine where you would have taken it. I don't know much about photography, but how amazing that you are able to do that with a camera. How brilliant and delightful!! Love the brown color and the angle. I've seen many gems so far on this blog. Thanks for Capturing Life!
